| - Celebrating two birthdays, took my son, daughter-in-law and wife to Cut, expecting an exceptional evening. Evening began well. Ordered a couple bottles of wine, the waiter nicely elucidated several aspects of the offerings, etc. Appetizers were very good to excellent, the service attentive but not overbearing. Having an enjoyable evening. I ordered a prime bone-in ribeye. It came cooked perfectly, but when I went to cut into it, it was so tough I had to mildly struggle to simply cut off pieces. Should have returned it immediately, but thought perhaps I had just cut into a small bad part, and also didn't want to put a damper on everyone's evening. To put it mildly, this was far and away, the absolutely worst steak I have ever been served in any restaurant in my entire life, and I am 75. How this could possibly be labeled "prime" is completely beyond me. If the worst steak I ever had was rated 6 on a scale of ten, this steak, at best was a 2. Would not recommend this restaurant, especially given the $$$$. A good evening ended on a very sour note.
