  • It was a sad day to see European Meats close. For many years I would first go to this shop and then visit the rest of Kensington Market for the rest of my groceries. The market has always been my place to shop since I live in the area and do not drive. I have just recently discovered that Zimmerman's Freshmart located just around the corner on Augusta now carries a full line of European Quality Meats & Sausage products. Their prices seem to be the same as before, the only difference is Freshmart's meat counter is self serve, you no longer have to take a number.
