Overdue for a renovation
Positive:
Location - downtown, on the light rail
Food - Starbucks, Bojangles, Einstein bagels all very close.
Size - it's a relatively small convention center, so it is easy to get from place to place, but this probably limits the types of shows that will come here.
Negatives:
Limited restrooms or they seem to be difficult to find
Lack of outlets - there are many tables, but no outlets. The only seating with outlets I can find is with my back to traffic so whoever can watch what I'm working on and it's practically in a dark corner.
Multi-story - this makes it difficult to get in and out of the convention center with trunks for exhibits. The elevators are difficult to find and some didn't seem to want to work
Escalators are for one person at a time - don't think about standing to the right to let someone in a rush by.
Wifi does not work in Hall C (lowest level) and I can't get any cell service.
