Came here for an early lunch right when they opened at 11:30. We were seated outside, which was a nice break from the indoor mayhem of Vegas, but it was extremely bright and alternated between cold and hot depending on the other diners' requests regarding the heat lamps (individual lamps couldn't be turned on and off...it was an all-or-nothing type deal).
While the busser was quick to fill our waters and bring our bread, our server took over a half an hour to greet us. He greeted the two tables around us, took their drink orders, then their food orders, but failed to come over to us even once. Did we smell weird? Did he not like my outfit? We finally got our order taken once the other tables were already being served. And I couldn't possibly have done anything worse than the girl at the next table who demanded to know where the bread was baked and needed a visual comparison of soup portions, so I think the server just wasn't particularly good at juggling more than one table.
I ordered off the vegetarian menu. I love that they have extensive vegan/vegetarian menus at all of the Wynn restaurants, and in most cases the food is delicious. Sadly this was my one exception to that rule. While the corn chowder I had to start was really tasty - sweet and light with a few roasted veggies and tortilla strips for texture - the main dish I had, the gardein steak salad, was salty and overdone. The bread was good - really liked these parmesan flatbreads in the basket.
The view was nice - right up against the golf course with a waterfall at one of the holes. However the reflective table made it a little too blinding to be sitting out there.
