| - Ice cream! Disclaimer. I'm not the world's biggest fan of ice cream. I like it, but I don't have much of a sweet tooth, so a little goes a long way for me. That being said, after having birthday brunch, ice cream in the area seemed to make sense.
Service was very friendly, and very helpful. Apparently, we were served by a trainee, but she was great! I tried the Very Stout, the Apple Pie, and the Honey Ginger. I wasn't blown away by the Apple Pie, but the Honey Ginger definitely had ginger in it. While it was good, it didn't strike me as being that much different than your typical ginger ice cream, albeit of better quality. I tried the Very Stout because it was the most unique flavor they had, in my opinion, and I'm all for unique flavors. I was surprised at how much I enjoyed it. I'm not a fan of beer, but I quite liked the beer flavors in this ice cream. I also liked how creamy it was, and how in comparison to the other flavors I tried, it was less sweet. I got a kiddy size ($3.33) of Very Stout after I had a sample of it. Kiddy and Stout. Huh. How often does that happen?
Apparently, they can turn your choice of ice cream flavors into a latte. That sounds interesting. Perhaps next time.
