The couple that are owners are soooooo nice! I would give them and their customer service 5 STARS! Unfortunately some of their technicians are less than desirable. Which makes this review a 2 star rating. I want to love this place seeing as I have friends who really like them but I have yet to be thrilled with my experience. I wrote this review a month or two back, but it never posted....
The first visit for a gel mani and pedi took HOURS literally I had an appointment at 11:30am and didn't leave until about 2:30/2:45pm?! Yikes! On top of that the gentleman doing my nails literally told me about 5 times he didn't want to be there and was leaving as soon as he finished my nails. He was asked by the owner to do another pedicure once he was finished with me and he straight up said no because it was supposed to be his day off. It was really awkward to have him as a technician and see those interactions in front of customers.
Today's visit: a simple gel polish change on my hands. The regular polish change is $8 apparently for gel it is $30? That is quite a jump especially seeing at the gel manicure is $35! Should have just went for the full manicure at that point but I'm glad I didn't waste any more money today. My nails already look like they have been growing out for a week!!!! WHATTTTT?!? The design looks awful... she wiped it off once and didn't even get all of it off so it has this weird black streak next to one of the dots. I have never had a gel manicure or polish change that the polish doesn't meet the end of the nail when you walk out making it look like it's already had a week of growth. I am so beyond disappointed. I paid her after questioning the pricing and being brushed off and even tipped because I would feel bad if I didn't even though I'm so disappointed. It's a shame because I LOVE the owners and want to love the salon but with the last two visits I can't say that has been the case at all especially this last time :-(
I hope they do an evaluation of their technicians and get them the training and skills they need to be up to par for satisfied customers.
