I might be giving the oldest follow up feedback as I've had my Lasik in 1995 or about 22 years ago. It was newly approved and my great health insurance covered it 100% so I said why not.
I don't recall the specifics like friendliness of the staff, waiting times, or even the cost (insurance). I just recall the procedure was fast and with the help of valium, I stayed relaxed and it went well. 20/20 and pain free on hours.
Regarding my vision 20+ years later..drumroll... It's still 20/20, although I've had to start wearing reading glasses around age 44. That is expected, surgery or not.
The only negative I can report is that I've had very dry eyes when waking up in the morning this whole time. I believe now they put tubes in your tear ducts but back than I don't think it was offered. I have gotten used to keeping eye drops on my nightstand. Very happy. In fact, I was drawn to Yelp looking for a Lasik clinic for my daughter.
