  • The review you need for your New Years resolutions... I never posted the review below because I wanted to give this place a clear shot, now that I have completed 17 workouts my review is moving from three to four stars (and really borderline five ....read on). I'm leaving the three star review here because it will say to you, the things you were/are may be thinking, if about to rate this place poorly, are the same things I was thinking. However, I can say having tried a variety of times and types of classes now, the variance in weight and fitness level is present, Diversity is at least somewhat evident, scheduling is not at all impossible and you will almost always get off of the waitlist, and finally the model will ensure you get to the gym even when you don't want to and you'll always get a quality workout. Feel free to read further for my initial feelings but if you can afford this place do it! Four instead of five stars because the price still seems just a bit far fetched, there are times where it seems there are big group cliques that lots of people just aren't a part of, and technological malfunctions aren't completely uncommon which is a real bummer at up to $28 a class. Original three star review: This review is intended to be startling enough to be taken into consideration.... I am not crazy, this is a five star workout, in a five star facility with five star service but their are some concerns that are a big deal so let's start at the top with those since the good really has been covered well by other reviewers.... 1. Regardless of what you've heard....This is not a gym for those completely not fit, or particularly self conscious about their weight. It's just not. For one, while it is true there are clearly varied levels of physical fitness that is not apparent from who is in the gym. I can quite confidently say that at 190 lbs I have at least 40 lbs on anyone I've seen in attendance in the three times I've been. Additionally the workouts are fantastic but not easy even with modifications I can't imagine someone who never exercises could make it through. 2. If diversity matters to you well.... it's not found much here at least visibly ie people of color, I don't mind it but as a thorough reviewer who knows it does matter to some, it's not this places forte 3. The scheduling system is a literal nightmare, it's easy to use but good luck getting into the classes you want to every time and waitlists are equally disconcerting. Do not do a monthly plan like I did, literally was unable to avoid losing some classes I paid for bc it was filled up for weeks and at $99/mo for eight classes that was stressful. Also many plans do rollover so if you "just want to try it for 30 days" then be sure to cancel the day you join. Now on to the good stuff.... 1. The exercise is phenomenal! It is a group style personal training that really keeps you motivated to perform your best, and the lighting and music help the time go by fast. Full body workout with full instruction... no complaint outside of the athlete level toughness, when advertised to the masses 2. The staff is very friendly! Good about giving one on one attention and keeping motivation up throughout. All customer service experiences have been pleasant and professional albeit somewhat misleading in the initial sign up process but I don't believe it was malicious 3. Small things like $10 charge for missing a class or not canceling with 8 hours notice ensure attendance and certainly keep you motivated. There is no way I'm getting up and just deciding not to
