  • We had our dog put down yesterday. Katie was able to meet with us in our home the same day we called. She was very compassionate, understanding and made our dog (Abbey), and our family, comfortable during Abbey's last moments of life. Our dog was sedated before being euthanized, letting her go peacefully and with dignity. The other dogs we've had put down seemed to struggle at the end, so this seemed like a much more humane way to go. Also, having this done at home made it seem much more relaxing as our dog didn't get nervous about going to the vet and waiting in an unfamiliar room with other distractions/stressors. Katie's services go beyond just in home euthanasia though; she also arranged to take care of the cremation process and will be dropping off the remains once the process is finished. She also made 2 clay paw prints of Abbey for us to remember her by. We will definitely use Katie's services if the time comes again.
