I started going to Top Dog groomers when I moved here almost 3 years. I loved to old owners and staff. The last time we went there, we were informed the owners had sold the business. We were given a 3-4 page application and release of liability if something, including death were to happen to our furbabies while in their care. Uhhhh..nope! I called the new owner and told them to delete our record as we will not be returning. He asked me why and I told him first, it was the release of liability. Second, I didn't get a good feeling about the new staff and their ability to take care of my dogs because of their age (12 & 13). Third, they raised the prices without notice or proof they can actually do the services. Forth, the owner has zero experience grooming. I don't care how much "handling of animals" you have...you don't groom. Last, I had no faith they would take their time with my dog who has arthritis. I'm more than willing to wait the extra time as long as my dog isn't traumatized by the groom. When I informed the owner of all of this, he was very nonchalant about it and said "Thank you" and we ended the call. Clearly, he has no concern about customer retention. I have no concern if they succeed
