  • Was at Artie's to get some drywall anchors and saw they had propane patio heaters on sale. The flyers on ALL the heaters said "up to 50%" off. The guy showing me around said most of them were 50% off. I picked one out, $266, and they went to get the heater. I was wondering what the discount would be. Ten percent would have been insulting. The guy came back with the heater. I asked what the discount would be figuring I'd taker it if it was at least 25% since the flyer indicated "up to 50%." The guy called whomever they call on those walkie-talkies. The discount was 0% off. Way to go Artie! Truth in advertising/merchandising? From now on, I just buy drywall anchors from Artie's Ace. Yeah, they have a lot of stuff on the often disorganized shelves, and it's easier than going to Home Depot, but this just pissed me off.
