First tech came out 6 weeks ago quickly looked at my unit (spent about 15 minutes on the roof) came down and said there is nothing wrong with the unit, other than it's old and no longer efficient for the home. I made the mistake of telling the tech we super cooled and he got hung up on that and used this as the excuse as to the effectiveness of the unit. After a long battle with my property manager 6 weeks later and a $500.00 electricity bill my property manager tells me they have worked something out with the owner of Cool Blew and they will be sending a level 2 tech. This tech was well coached on what to tell me and how much to tell me, before he even arrived. He even spent 20 minutes on the phone after he looked at my unit before he came back in and told me there was debris in the unit he cleared it out this fixed the issue. I'm thinking the phone call was between him and his boss telling him what to tell me. From what I tell he basically did a tune up. I feel like I was played by this company because the owner of Cool Blew felt loyalty to do what the property manager wanted, not what the customer needed. The tech went as far as telling me I have a great unit it's a Train they are one of the best and then gave me some advice to tell my property manager which he referred to her by her first name. After he left I walked outside to see if any "debris" had been tossed off the roof, of course I didn't find any but what I did notice was a big plaque on the AC unit with the brand name American Standard. So much for it being a great unit because it a Train. AC is still not fixed, still runs all day and all night and can't cool the house below 78. But I guess I have to live with it due to dishonesty.
