Well, mixed updated review from my sunday brunch visit today at 11 am with 5 friends. Our server saved the day...
The Bad: We had a 11 am reservation and the hostess seated us at the high top table inside right next to the bar. A server from the bar asked who was doing bottomless mimosas and got us started with a glass. All good then for 20 minutes, not one server stopped by the table. Finally after trying to wave someone down, our awesome server stopped by..on to the good part..
The good: I didn't get his name but our server was a bald gentleman who was awesome. He observed that no one was assisting us and took the initiative to take care of us. He apologized for the wait, he didn't know what happened but he was going to take care of us the rest of the way. He did a great job, he brought 2 carafes to the table and they were never empty. All the orders came out correctly and quickly.
The Summary: My food was great, I had the loco moco this visit and I loved the chicken fried rice that was used vs white rice regularly. Maybe we caught the staff on a bad day. However, it was early so the restaurant was only at about 20% capacity which makes this even more mind boggling. I hope the service is better on the next visit as I love the food here, but that's another Yelp tale. Enjoy!
