  • We had such a blast at Lumberjaxe! We went in not knowing exactly what to expect, but we will definitely be coming back now that we've had a little practice! When we arrived we were promptly checked in and were told Reggie would be our instructor, which I was happy to hear because for some reason I thought we would just be given free rein? Reggie told us the safety basics and showed how to throw with a couple different strategies. He was amazing! He definitely made our experience more enjoyable. We got along with him so well and we'll be requesting him next time we go for sure! We got food from a fantastic food truck that was over at Catawba Brewery and were allowed to bring it in. And of course, we had a couple beers from the check-in counter. If you're on the fence about going, don't be! Try it out! You won't regret it when you land your first axe, the feeling is so satisfying!
