rev:text	After dining at the buffets and fine restaurants during the past couple of days, we decided to give Ellis Island a try. We came here for breakfast on Sunday and had a delightful experience. This is a great hidden gem in heart of the Las Vegas! The food is a throwback to what Las Vegas dining used to be 20 years ago - cheap, good food and great value. It's about a block walk from the Flamingo on Koval Lane. The café is located inside the casino. Though not the fanciest, it's clean, cozy and staff is friendly. When we got there, a cocktail table was setup in front offering customers made to order bloodymarys for $7. Oh Hell Ya! It was simply too hard to pass up. We got a couple of them and they were delicious. It was the perfect situation while we waited for our table. A few sips in and our table was ready. The breakfast menu was presented to us which was pretty basic, but offered all the essentials breakfast items, including steaks, pork chops and chicken fried steaks. We ordered the steak/eggs ($7.99), corned beef/hash ($6.99) and French toast ($5.99). Our meal didn't take long to arrive and everything was on point. The steak was prepared perfectly medium, juicy and so delicious. Good thick cut portion, not the thin cheap kind either and more like fillet mignon size cuts. French toast was excellent, fluffy, thick and dusted with powdered sugar. Portions were more than enough to share. Ellis Island might not be an oasis for foodies, but if you're on budget and want something satisfyingly good, than I highly recommend you check them out. Definitely looking forward to coming back, especially for their beers, $2.50 (20oz glass) which they have brewery on-site.
