I love finding new boba spots but I'm always scared to try something new. So I get a variation of my usual drink: green tea lol.
Parking was pretty easy, we got a spot right at the front. The front of the Tea of Joy is a cute little area with tables and a patio swing. I'd definitely be coming here more often once the weather starts to warm up.
Walking in, there were no customers... which means I'm not pressured to choose what I want to drink. I got a weird order (matcha slushie with green tea ice cream on top) and everyone behind the counter gave me a weird look so I was a little self-conscious... But four stars because they made the drink perfectly! I was pleased and savored it as long as I could.
They also have desserts: macarons, tiramisu, creme brûlée... yum! Their menu is pretty diverse. I'd like to try other things but I really want to stick with my drink lol.
Seems like a great place to study because it's not too loud and the tables are big enough to hold textbooks and a laptop. There's a little section with two couches and a tv, yet what was playing just looked like a loop of commercials. There are also games on a shelf to keep yourself entertained.
