I bought a car from Earnhardt and Mike Landau over a year ago. I was interested in purchasing a used vehicle recently. Called Mike to see if he could help me out. Last time I worked with him, he helped me out over the phone and went above and beyond. This time around, there was not the same sense of service or determination to work together. I did not feel like Mike was interested in helping me find a deal with their group. I would not have written this review however, I received a standard marketing email today from "Mike". It clearly wasn't even completed:
Hello Chris,
Are you still in the market for a ?
Why does this bother me enough to follow up? It is because I feel like another number at Earnhardt. Makes me wonder if the reason for Mike's determination to help me was driven by the month end rush to hit numbers vs the beginning of the month "fresh start". I too work in sales and understand very well the ups and downs. But I will not tolerate passing me off like a casual client when I go out of my way to contact Mike and wait for his call. I felt like he was a genuine guy. All I wanted to do was make a deal over the phone. I was told "you would have to come in". Not cool when I live in Anthem and the place is in Mesa.
