  • We could not be happier with K-9's & Kitty's! We recently moved to LV from Chicago and after having a less-than-optimal experience elsewhere with grooming I was hesitant to try somewhere else new. I am so happy now that I did! I called on a Saturday morning very early and they were able to take our dog within the hour! When we arrived we were pleased to see parking out front designated for the shop! Our dog is a pitbull and really just a huge ball of anxiety and worry. She does not always do well with new people or situations, and the first place we went to groom her said it took "a whole bag of treats and 4 people just to clip her nails." We filled out some quick paperwork and they reviewed the vaccination records. The groomer (I feel terrible because I forgot her name..I think it was Amy) came and got her from us and you could just tell right off the bat she was a dog lover and could really understand our dog's personality and "special" needs LOL. Within the hour she was done and when we picked her up they let us know she was anxious with the nail cutting so they did not use the grinder/filing thing on her this time because they did not want her to have a negative experience with them. The nails were still perfectly cut and she smelled so good! I didn't even know pitbulls could be so fluffy and soft! The price was right and we will definitely be back again for grooming. A couple of weeks later I brought our dog back to buy some toys and she knew everyone right away and was so excited! That made me happy!
