| - Such a great night out with some other wonderful yelpers!!
I arrived a little after 4:30 and the aromas in the restaurant were tantalizing, and I couldn't want to try the food! We got started with some delicious appetizers. My favorite were the kale fritters, which were perfectly seasoned and had just the right amount of spice, not heat, but wonderful Indian spice. My least favorite were the wings. I don't know why, but I just wanted them to have more seasoning or something, but I do like that they were baked rather than fried.
For the entree, I went with the coconut curry, which I was pleasantly surprised by. I honestly expected the sauce to be a lighter color, but it wasn't. The flavors were bold, rich and spicy, but in true Indian fashion, the spices weren't "hot" but rather lingering and flavorful. They have two different types of naan- plain and garlic- and they both were delicious, light and airy. Everyone at the event was willing to share their food, so it was great to be able to sample many different menu items and I can't wait to come back and try some more items!
