  • When I moved over to the East Side, I had to find a new barber. Plus, I was kinda tired of my old barber cutting my hair unevenly. So I started going to Fast Eddy's. I really liked it for awhile, until I realized that it seemed as if they raised their prices almost regularly. When I compared the haircut that I received from Fast Eddy's to lower-priced salons in the area, I realized that it just wasn't worth it anymore. If I had a lot of extra money, I probably would have kept on going here. Why? The haircuts that I did receive were great and the stylists were very personable. I really liked the younger guy with the shaved head--he was a great conversationalist and a really nice guy in general. If you've got the money to spare, you'll get a great haircut at Fast Eddy's...but if you're on a budget, Fast Eddy's high prices just aren't worth it. And, as Justin V. said, regardless if you're broke or ballin', make sure you have an appointment before you go--I once made the mistake of going without an appointment and I waited so long that I think my hair grew an inch in the waiting area.
