  • My closet may be a revolving door of different trends coming in and out but there are some beloved shoes I wear to death that im not ready to part with. The culprits this time being two pairs of boots that had become a victim of the harsh PA winter last year. We may try and deny it, but winters coming yinz guyz and it's time to break out dem boots! So since my boots were in a sad state I dropped them off at Joes for re-soling. He asked me when I wanted them back, to which I said "tomorrow" hesitantly. He said "okay" and I was off on my merry way. Next day I pick them up, beautifully re-soled for $14 for two pairs of boots! Deal, and definitely MUCH cheaper than buying two new pairs (that mola will be saved for some other article of clothing I'm sure!). WARNING: CAsh only! Plus, his hours are a little wonky, so when he tells you he closes at 4pm you better be there by 3:30....considering I showed up at 3:40 and he was locking the door! Me and my boots will see you in a couple winters...or sooner if another pair decide to bite the dust!
