| - Speaks volumes about how the bar keeps getting raised in Vegas when the Wynn, which charged upwards of $300-500 a night when it first opened several years ago, is no longer "the" place to stay and now goes for as little as $100 a night (before the ubiquitous, always annoying "resort fee") during off-peak periods.
That having been said, attention to luxury, spotlessness, and detail is still evident inside and out, right down to the fresh flowers in the hallways. The rooms themselves have all the things you'd expect from a (former?) five-star hotel, like electronic control panels, gorgeous views from just about any room, and lavish, large bathrooms with a number of personal amenities.
Also have to mention the gym - it's well-stocked with a full array of free weights, resistance machines, and cardio equipment.
Yes, Wynn's star has faded somewhat, but it's actually a fantastic value now that the room prices have come down to earth.
