The last time I was in the Compass Room was 30 years ago, for my 8th grade graduation dinner. The décor was the same as well as the Wonderful food and ambiance. Very old school and delicious. Our waitress Sheryl, was so professional, knowledgeable, and kind. We always order calamari wherever we go and use it as a barometer. It was delicious, tender and lightly crispy. YUM! They brought us moist and warm cornbread. I ordered the lobster chowder and sea bass. Wow! It looks like small portions but, no. We were stuffed! My husband ordered the wedge salad and top sirloin. I'm telling you, GO there! Prices are high but worth every penny in quality, service, ambiance, and city views. We'll be back!
