Tips: go early, bring your own wagon, knives or scissors, gloves are nice but not needed. They provide bags, but just bring your own. Water is a must and if you have kids bring some wet wipes or hand sanitizer.
Plan to walk around the whole thing to wear the kids out. You can see the giant chicken, the hay maze, check out the little burrowing owls too! They are usually out in the early morning and we see them fly out.
It's pick your own, so you are to blame if you are a moron and get something you don't like. The people working there are nice and very helpful. If you don't know something just ask! Even the kids working can help or find out for you. They remember regulars which is awesome considering the volume of people who just go through there. Over the years the parking had gotten way better which we appreciate. The only thing we miss is the giant mulberry tree! They let us come one year and fill up a container of our own for free. Great place and great people.
