| - This review is for Ikea's cafe. I've been there several times during my recent Pittsburgh sojourn.
1) I came here with my mom before she dropped me off at an airport hotel. She got a cappuccino and I got a latte and we enjoyed our free coffees (thank you Ikea family card) and people watched.
2) I came a second time for a place to park myself for a few hours while waiting for my other half to get off work nearby. I got the chicken tenders, which is way too much food for one person, but enjoyed their quality condiment selection, the fast wifi, the free latte, and, again, the people watching. I got a lot done, too.
3) Third visit I came with my other half for breakfast before going to Main Event to play for the day. We had heard of the legendary 99 cent breakfast. Here it's actually $1 for scrambled eggs, turkey sausage, and potatoes. We splurged on the $2 breakfast which adds Swedish pancakes and lingonberries. He got a cappucino and I got Lipton tea. I am a tea snob, but I actually like Lipton and it's nice to have it sometimes. For $2 it's a great deal--about the same quality as a midrange hotel breakfast. Again, great condiment selection. This is terrible but I dressed up the eggs with hot sauce and ranch and dipped my potatoes in BBQ sauce. But I am weird like that.
