  • Can I just say...WOW?! This place is amazing!!! After reading the mostly awesome reviews of Lotus, I was eager to try it. I went with about 5 other girls for a bday dinner. We made reservations for dinner, so there was no waiting or anything like that. Food: The food is delicious. While I do appreciate my go-to, hole-in-the-wall Thai place, "King and I", down the street, I think that the quality of Lotus' food is much higher. Some of the dishes we had (we had a lot, so I don't remember the names of all of them), but red curry with duck, panang curry with tofu and chicken, drunken noodles with sea bass, papaya salad, glass noodles with chicken, crispy rice, and a couple other dishes I can't remember. All of them were delicious. My personal faves were the drunken noodles and panang curry. We also had dessert...mango with sweet sticky rice, and fried bananas with ice cream....yummm! We also had two bottles of wine. It was a LOT of food, and we only ended up paying about $45 bucks each between 6 girls...a pretty good deal, considering how much we ordered, and we were stuffed at the end. Service: The waiter was very attentive. Plenty of refills without asking. Decor: Nothing fancy, but it has a nice ambiance, moreso than your typical hole-in-the-wall. Location: It's kind of in a sketchy part of neighborhood, Sahara Ave and Commercial Ctr. There are some other restaurants around, like a Korean bbq restaurant. If you're looking for fantastic Thai food in the Vegas area, check this place out, you won't be disappointed. I'd come here more often if I didn't live on the opposite side of town!
