We have three appliances purchased from Sears. We also purchased the 5-year extended warranty on all three, which includes an annual check-up. Last year, we were told by the service person that we should have all three examined at the same time, thus avoiding multiple service calls. When we followed that advice this year, waiting until the proper time, we were told the warranty had expired on the washer and dryer 19 days earlier. Despite our explanation of being told to wait and do all three at once, Sears refused to budge. Never again will we buy anything from Sears. I know they are on the brink of failure and now we know why.
