| - Stayed at the Palazzo and the concierge told us about Pink Jeep Tours since we wanted to see the Hoover Dam.
I choose the Hoover Dam Classic for $88 and was told it was a 4 hour tour and that they would pick us up at 745 am.
Well the driver was late and we were picked up at 8 am and since we were the last to be picked up the seating was limited. The truck has two seats on the driver side and single seats on the passenger side, this wasn't a huge deal since we weren't going far, but you can't really talk to each other to point stuff out. This would have been nice to know ahead of time.
We had to pick up one more guest which put us further behind schedule, after that pickup we had to get back to the highway. This led to further delays.
The truck had the check engine light on and didn't always want to start, I feel that is something that should not happen especially some of the roads we were going to travel, the truck should be well maintained for everyone's safety.
Well we made it to the dam, were dropped off, the tour guide parked the vehicle while we waited, and then came back to give us the tickets.
She walked down to the dam and made sure everyone got through security. Once through security we did the tour which costs $15 dollars, once done we had to meet back up and it was time to go.
I have included a picture of the flyer and it does say about four hours, well we got two hours. Not only that the tour States you have a guided walk across the dam, well that didn't happen. No pictures, no going to the Arizona side, nothing.
This experience was a huge fraud, when I started to complain the lady said well if you take a cab it's 40 dollars, so you save money with us. I could have rented a car and saved even more.
I wouldn't recommend this tour, the guide or driver doesn't give you the tour, they don't go on the tour, a worker at the dam gives you a tour.
The tour of the dam is pretty good and you learn a lot of history, I would have liked four hours to see everything, that's why I came to Vegas was to see the sights, Unfortunately Pink Jeep Tours was not the tour for this.
