  • This weekend I went to my very first painting party. The picture we were painting was the "Pinnacle Peak Sunset" To be honest when I saw the BLANK canvas I though "There is absolutely NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO WAYYYYYYYYYYY possible that I would ever be able to paint a picture from NOTHING on the canvas (WHAT not even a light tracing that I could follow)." (I have NO artistic ability) Well Sam (the assistant) and Leann (the artist) proved me wrong. When I was finished I had a beautiful painting (I wish I knew how to upload a picture of my painting so I could show it to everyone, because I am proud of it). There were over 25 people at this party so I was "sure" we would not be getting personalized attention. I was 100% wrong. Sam was a great help to everyone, constantly walking around to see if we needed anything and she made us feel comfortable with our many questions. Leann was wonderful, she was so patient with us. Her step by step instructions and encouraging words were perfect. The support from both Sam & Leann was such a great comfort and it enabled all of us to let our "artistic genes" come to life. Everyone at the party left with something they were proud to hang on the wall. I can't wait to do it again. I am thinking of hosting my own party soon. Thank you so much Sam & Leann for a great experience.
