I want to like this Lowe's. They have good prices and are a one stop shop for pretty much anything you will ever need.
However, every single time-- and I mean EVERY time-- we've come in, we've waited in excess of 30 minutes for help when we needed it. We just went in for a door today-- a basic screen door-- but the one we needed was up on a top shelf. We waited almost 45 minutes for someone to help us. We were ignored by most employees for a long time before we were offered any help. When I sought someone out, there was one person and he was busy with another customer the entire time. Clearly they are understaffed--there were others waiting for help for excessive amounts of time as well. It took us over an hour to buy a $100 screen door simply because the door was up high. It should have taken 10 minutes.
This isn't the first time we've waited like this, either. We bought carpet from this Lowe's in 2011 and ran into the same problem. They are perpetually understaffed for customer volume and it takes a toll on customers.
If they could get their staffing issues in order, the store would be good otherwise. Lots of good stuff, lots of good clearance and great prices. The staffing issue, however, makes the whole store seem impossible.
