  • After arriving in Toronto for a Lakers vs. Raptors game, my girlfriend and I decided to check this place out. First of all, we waited for a while to be seated. That's not necessarily a bad thing (it gave us time to collect and share our thoughts on Canada, as we were experiencing it for the first time), but it would have been nice to sit down while we were waiting. Once seated, we ordered the Lalibela Platter. We weren't sure if we should each order two, or if we should split. I remember our server indicating non-verbally that one order would be big enough for both of us. And indeed it was. I'm a hefty eater, but we barely finished the huge platter of Ethiopian bread splotched with littler piles of various veggies and meats in unnamed sauces. Everything was delicious and our bill, for two people, was very reasonable. Would definitely come back again.
