  • I went to Fanco after my realtor recommended them. Unfortunately, I can't say that I would recommend them after having the experience that I did. Bought 4 fans (3 bedrooms, 1 living room) at the store. The sales associate (Terry) was helpful and friendly. I picked out the fans I wanted - he had to call the other stores to see if they had any in stock because this location did not. I was hesitant about ordering them because I needed them within a certain time frame. However, he assured me (and had a customer assure me as well) that the fans would arrive in time. He did however give me the 4 remotes for the fans that day (the remotes were QUITE large and i commented about how I would have preferred something smaller - but apparently this is all they had to offer). I ordered them on Thursday. By Tuesday evening, I did not receive a call about the status of my fans - so I had to call them and ask about the fans. When I spoke with Terry, he did not know the status of my fans and had to look up the information - so clearly, he was not going to contact me about the status if I had not called. He called me back the next day (the fans had arrived) and asked me when I could come pick up the fans. Because I had been expecting the fans earlier, I was unable to pick up the fans after work/have someone else pick them up for me. I told him that there wasn't a way I would be able to do it. He said that he could try to have the fans delivered then ("Free of charge"). However - he asked me to come in to set up an appointment with the installers of the fans. I asked him why I needed to schedule an appointment through him at the store when he told me on Thursday when I ordered the fans that it was through a third party installer anyways. Because of the timing, there was no way I would be able to go to the store JUST to set up an appointment with the installers. I asked him if there was a way that I could just call them myself and he said no. I wish he had told me this when I had purchased the fans in the first place. I asked him to please call me back the following morning to discuss when the installers would be arrive for the install of the fans and who would be bringing the fans to my home. I received no phone call. On the day I moved into my house (I had scheduled cable to come install their services during this time), out of the blue - I hear the doorbell ring. It's the fan installers. They had brought the fans and were ready to install them. Had I not been home, I don't know what would have happened to my fans or the install. I would give this company and their services 1/5 stars had I not received my fans and gotten the install done as planned. However, I will not go back to them again and would not recommend them or their services to others.
