| - This HAS to be a 2 part review.
One part for their ability to relieve pain.
Another part for their business practices and organization.
Let's talk about pain.
They have Dr. Scott. Dr. Scott has fixed 75% of my pain, and he's not done. Dr
Scott gets 5 stars.
To give you a bit of an idea how serious this is, I've been going to another Pain Clinic for the last 6 years. They literally fix one pain spot at a time, and sometimes not very well.
SO BAD!
So, thank GOD, I grew the bravery to switch.
Now, for their business practices.
Zero stars. I mean it. ZERO.
They will not ask for per-authorization from your insurance, and they will make you sign things promising to pay them when your insurance refuses. They will also insist that your insurance doesn't cover things that it does cover.
They will also randomly tell you that you can't have things because you haven't met your deductible-even when you don't have a deductible.
They will tell you that they have ordered things and procedures, and they haven't... The nurse practitioner that I meet with is uncommunicative, confusing, unhelpful, and always got my issues and upcoming procedures wrong.
They have no answers to ANY QUESTIONS.
SUMMARY:
If you have terrible pain, they can help you. BUT, only if you call them and keep on top of them and insist that they "check again" and call you back. Then do it all over again. You really CAN'T use this place if you aren't able or willing to do this.
If your pain is manageable, maybe you should go somewhere easier to deal with.
I'm staying. I bent over this morning to pick something up.
What a MIRACLE.
