| - I go to the Espresso by Krannert for the location- two blocks from my work. Normally it's 4-star for overall: quality, $$, service. Lately it's going downhill for whatever reason.
Today I had to spend my precise time to comment and give a 3-star rating.
Businesses: please realize that bad service is cross board bad for many reasons: first your business suffer, second customers need to spend time writing bad reviews; third, bad reviews make business bad; and mostly, bad reviews make people who waste their time writing them feel bad, and possibly ruining their day!
I had to comment on the medium hot caffe latte I ordered: it's lukewarm, not hot at all! Making a dreary, cold Illinois Friday unbearable!
And if you adopted a reward system, then stick to it. Don't try to go around and cheat on your customers. I used a pre-paid FlockTag deal on my drink. I don't know why but every time I use this kind of payment, the people there serving are not happy. Then I asked the guy to help me 'punch' my FlockTag card for the reward. He told me he did. He (and many other servers) probably didn't think I can have access to my FlockTag account. Sure enough later when I checked, he didn't punch for me.
It has happened many times and my extremely-frugal colleague even told me to use a physical punch card so you can make sure. But i wasn't pushed hard enough until today to realize that you have to distrust business to start with and let them work their b--- off to earn it back.
That's where the three-star is from...
