  • I've gone on 2 tours with Maverick and they are a fantastic company! I've done the Canyon Dreams tour to the south rim and the Veas Nights tour. Each time they make you feel safe and comfortable the entire time. The pilots are very nice and friendly and any and every question you have they know the answer too. The Canyon Dreams tour to the Grand Canyon South Rim is amazing! You fly there on a private plane, visit the visiting center center then on a helicopter to tour the south rim for about 30mins up in the air..truly breathtaking! Once the helicopter protion is over there is a shuttle that takes you to the edge of the canyon and you have about 2-2 1/2 hours to shop, eat, and do different trails on your own at the south rim. After the 2 hours you take the shuttle back to the visiting center/airport and fly back to Las Vegas in the small private plane and see the sunset. With the Vegas Nights tour you depart from the Maverick airport on Las Vegas Blvd. Tour the Las Vegas strip and downtown. It takes about 20-25mins in total. I've lived in Las Vegas for over 10yrs and this tour was great seeing Las Vegas from te sky.
