  • I want to start off by saying Eliza is and always has been outstanding. I only just caught her name in person on my last visit, she doesn't wear a name tag. But she has helped me on the phone several times and is the reason I keep coming back to this location. Had I worked with her, rather than Cassandra, maybe things would have been a little different. 5 stars for Eliza A couple weeks ago, I sent my husband in to upgrade our plan to include dental cleanings. I told him it wouldn't cost more than $40, but I wasn't sure of the exact price. I was walking around the store grabbing what we needed for our pup, and caught up with him about halfway through his interaction. He was speaking to Cassandra, who was two seconds away for signing our dog up for a higher plan that included x-rays. Our dog is still a puppy. Why would he need x-rays? So I stopped them and mentioned that if for some reason he ever did need them, we could always upgrade the plan at any time. She agreed, with her eyes lowered, as if she was either frustrated by my interruption or embarrassed that she was caught. Fast forward to last Friday, we had originally scheduled an appointment for last Monday but they don't have it together there so they called us to reschedule. We finalize everything and then receive an email confirming a drop off time of 745A, only to receive a call the day before saying we had to have him there no later than 715A. My husband takes him in and in order to avoid any issues like we've seen in the past from this sales driven staff, he requests that nothing is performed outside of what our plan covers. They print something out for him to sign, then ask him to sign on the pen pad. When I get a call later about some extra medicine that was administered that we would have to pay for, I'm obviously confused. When I arrive to pick up the pup, I request the form my husband signed. Instead, I am given a page long agreement about the doctors being able to do whatever they feel like doing during the stay. So they basically gave him one document to sign, then had him sign over all rights without walking him through what he was signing. They told him it was just to sign the dog in. Sofia, the practice manager, lied to my husband. Dr. Sharpe is probably a decent vet, but from my third experience with her last week, it is obvious that her duty is to her corporation, not her community. It is unfortunate that her work is clouded by sales and following a policy that is meant to make money off of people who are seeking fair, affordable, quality care for their animal family members. Do not visit this Banfield. They are the worst of all in the Vegas area, money hungry and committed only to the people who pay the bills. You'd think that would include consumers, but it doesn't.
