| - So, my waxer ditched town and I was left to decide between finding a new hair removal maven and driving an hour each way to see my favorite wax gal. That was when I spotted the 50% off waxing ad in dollars & sense magazine. Reviews seemed good, so I decided to give it a try.
The Spa occupies a first floor suite in a new building in Sun Prairie. It was easy enough to find, parking was available, and the suite is nice enough. There was tea in the waiting room, though they were out of many fixings, along with comfortable chairs and a wall-mounted waterfall. Not the epitome of opulence, but relaxing enough.
After slogging through pages of paperwork, I was greeted by the technician, who proceeded to call me the wrong name for my entire appointment. OK - I probably should have corrected her at some point, but you know when you don't say anything the first time and then it just gets awkward? Yeah, that.
She was nice enough, but pushed the up-sell really hard, even after I'd said no a couple of times. Maybe she should have been paying more attention to the service I was getting, rather than trying to get me on the hook for more, because she didn't even finish it. Again - I probably should have spoken up, but at that point I was just ready to leave.
Overall, not a horrible experience, but not one I plan to revisit.
