We had been wanting to try this restaurant for the longest time, and last Thursday we had the chance to do so. First of all, we had to wait for our food for at least 45 minutes, and the food was terrible. The salsa that came with the chips had too much cumin. The shrimp "a la mexicana" was swimming in butter. The dish was so greasy and lacking in flavor that I couldn't finish it. The only thing that tasted good was the refried beans that came with it. My husband ordered arrachera tacos which were very dry and only had a little bit of chopped onion and cilantro on top. I had to ask the waiter to bring some salsa to put in them, but he brought this sweet thin sauce that was awful. The kids had beef quesadillas with rice, and that was okay. All in all, a very disappointing experience. I gave them two stars because the ambiance was really nice, but we will not go back.
