| - If I could give this place zero stars, I would. For the record, I nearly always do my own work on my car, for two reason-1, I enjoy it, and 2-So if there's something I can't fix, I can clearly explain to a mechanic what happened and what I've put in to fix it. That said, I was unpleasantly surprised and disgusted to be talked down to first by the kid who attempted to check me in and tell me that asking them to plug in an OBDII monitor to double check that I no longer had any codes and my vehicle had completed its drive cycles was illegal. Then when he finally figured out what I had asked him (very straightforwardly) to do, 5 minutes after I had already thrown up my hands in frustration and walked out, he came chasing after me, apologized (to his credit), and offered to get the smog tech out to talk to me. The smog tech comes out, I explain everything all over again, and then THIS clown tries to tell me there is no way to check that my computer is clear before he can smog it, and that I would have to pay for it to be smogged first before he can tell me anything. I also had to explain that the MIL light in one's vehicle is the indication that a car has completed its required cycles and may be ready to be tested. He claimed he'd never heard of that, and that it must be made up by my mechanic, rolled his eyes when I said I do my own work, and again urged me to pay to have it smogged first. It is because I was treated so disrespectfully by workers who clearly don't have a clue about the vehicles they "work" on that I will not be returning, and will urge others to take their business elsewhere.
