I was very happy to find a barber shop with minimal wait. But then I realized why.
The staff here is simply not professional. They watch TV while cutting hair. I watched the barber stand behind my father for a full minute while watching sports television. Finally I had to bring him back to earth by reminding him that we had places to go. He was unapologetic.
My father's hair was little different from when we arrived. It looked as though he did a light clean up and nothing more. I thought my father had requested it but he did not. My father has Parkinson Disease and didn't watch his hair being cut because he closed his eyes.
So now we are going to miss our appointment if we didn't leave so I chose not to complain about the bad cut. My father paid for the cut, $25!, and I asked him if the stylist had been tipped. He said yes. I asked the stylist if he had gotten one and he denied it. Didn't know what to make of that. So maybe he was tipped twice and felt like a winner.
There are numerous other shops in the area that are more affordable and professional. I will choose one of them next time.
