  • I like the Phoenix Sky Harbor airport. I'm from the Phoenix area so I can only offer a review as far as ease of flying in to and out of the airport (not as a connecting flight airport). Perhaps the only drawback to the airport is driving and navigating around the complex. On occasion, I have difficulty figuring out the correct way to get to the east economy parking garages. I would recommend taking a moment before traveling to look at the map/diagram on the PHX website, it is helpful. However, as far as navigating the complex to pick up friends who have arrived at the airport, that has not been difficult. Parking is expensive, even the economy parking. Once parked, it's fairly easy to get to the terminals via the sky train. Going through security is ok, not any different from any other major airport. There are lots of restaurants and shops to go through if you have a wait for a flight. I have never had any delayed flights out of or in to the PHX airport. Overall, it's a pretty decent airport.
