Talk about renewing my love and interest for history!! After being raised in the south close to the Old Founded City in the USA (St. Augustine, Florida) where everything is historic, it was nice to experience the historic side of Las Vegas.
For locals, pricing is decent. There is a $5 parking fee to park at the museum lot, but if you're feeling frugal for the day, you can easily save $5 and park at the near by casino garages and walk to the Mob Museum as it's that easily accessible. Museum tickets for locals is $13.95, and if you have a local student id it is $10!! So those csn/unlv student cards come in handy! If you have a student id from out of state there is still a discount. Non locals is $21.95
The museum is separated by three levels the museum starting at the top and working your way to the bottom. If you wanna really spend time get your money's worth and fully experience the entire museum I would allot yourself at least 3hours. Also depends on how fast you read, but they have lots of interactive commentary going on throughout the whole museum.
I'm big on gangster and mob movies and living in Vegas I wanted to learn and experience the whole mobster gangster vegas history. Definitely worth it and because I was only there for two hours I felt like I didn't get the full experience so I will most def be back.
The museum is very clean and well kept and I love how the city kept true to the buildings original state. I won't give too much away coz that would ruin the point of even going to the museum if I told you all what was in it!! So check it out!! It's an awesome addition to the Vegas experience!!
