| - My family and I flew from Las Vegas, NV to Oahu in April 2018. I suppose it would be good if you are not a disabled person. We took my 92 year mother with us as a last "bucket list" item, she is disabled and in a wheelchair, sometimes a walker for very short distances.
We had to go to Terminal D to check in with Hawaiian airlines, and were unaware that it was not in the "normal" airlines check in areas. We either had to catch a bus or take a taxi to Terminal D ( it is located outside of the main Terminal ) with a disabled person and several small children... What a nightmare.... At least there was a tram back to the main Terminal to get on the plane once we checked in. To add insult to injury, Hawaiian Airlines lost my mothers wheelchair and walker and didn't have a loaner wheelchair for us to use to get her out of the airport to the hotel, nor did they have any idea where they were. As our flight arrived at 9:55pm, we did not have much choice in what to do. Hawaiian did not tell us until after 11:30pm ( we had already figured out they had lost them but at their mercy) that the wheelchair and walker were lost, they kept telling us they would be here any minute. The same Terminal D fiasco happened on the return flight as you have to go to Terminal D to get your luggage and cannot return to the main Terminal on the tram if you have luggage, so once again we had to take a cab or a bus back to the main Terminal where our car was parked..... If you are disabled, do not use Hawaiian airlines out of Las Vegas, NV, they are not user friendly for wheelchair customers.
