  • Alley went both last year and this year. Putting this event on good Friday probably wasn't the best idea. Last year the expo was Saturday and Sunday but likely due to Easter it was changed. Alley has one word for the 2017 Phoenix Pet Expo and that word is EMPTY! At least 1/3 less vendors than last year. About 1/3 of this years vendors are for non pet related products such as sheets, screen doors, scooters and car insurance. There's even a booth for laskic eye surgery! The doggie costume contest lacked any originality and Alley has no idea what is going on with the empty agility course. The remaining vendors were pet rescue organizations, animal hospitals and other remedies for cancer and displaced hips in older pets. All in all she enjoyed walking on the WestWorld grounds looking for bunnies more than she enjoyed the event.
