  • I've been on the hunt for a good, but affordable, eyebrow threading place. I stumbled upon this place thanks to Yelp. I was a bit skeptical at first because I thought that it may have been too good to be true and that there were too many positive reviews and maybe they had their friends or employees write it. So here's my experience: I finally made the trip here. Google Maps made it seem much further than it actually is from Yonge & Eglinton - if you're lazy, take the 97 North. It was easy to find. As you walk in, you notice how CLEAN and SPOTLESS this place is - just as everyone else mentioned. Now, I've been to my fair share of eyebrow studios and they have ALL be dingy... this place, while it is new, they are trying very hard to keep this place spotless, which is fantastic! As I walk in, I'm greeted by the friendly receptionist. I told her what I was there for, she asked me to take my boots off (duh, because it's gross outside and the entire place is white and sparkly). There's the options to put slippers on - they have a few colourful ones near the entrance. I opted for wearing my socks. I sit down and I'm greeted by my brow threader. She was very soft spoken, but I felt like she was really listening to me when I told her what I wanted. She told me what she was going to do. As she threaded and finished one eyebrow, she asked me to look to see if I liked it. I have NEVER been asked this before at an eyebrow studio. Usually they just thread then tell you to get out. This lady (sorry, I didn't get her name!) was very quick, professional, and she got the job done extremely well. She paid very close attention to what I was saying and what I wanted. She actually cared about what I thought of her work rather than making a quick buck and butchering my eyebrows. Not sure why people say eyebrow threading is painful - I find it quite relaxing? :) I paid $6.00 for my eyebrows to be threaded and I have to say that I'm extremely happy with my brows. I feel so refreshed and clean! :) I will definitely be coming back here for my next brow threading. Definitely worth the little journey up north! I highly recommend this place.
