| - There is a reason why ALL the doctors drive luxury cars and how they could afford to build this new building in such a short time. They may be a, walk-in clinic, but they charge as if they're a private practice in Rosedale.
I have a regular doctor in Scarborough but for convenience sake this building is within 2 mins walking distance from my home. For the two times I visited, both times I got bills in the mail the following weeks. I have a full 100% union medical insurance plan plus OHIP but still I get bills from them.
One time I had x-rays done and they asked which doctor was mine. I told them he isn't in this building so they charged me $60 to ship it to him. Same day shipping under Fedex, Puralator and other couriers is only $30. Even cheaper by cab. My doctor never got it but they still sent several, "past due" notices to me. I shouldn't have to pay for their mistakes or their claims without proof.
The next time I waited over two hours in their walk-in clinic to see anyone and when I ended up seeing someone, they told me they couldn't do anything and sent me to the hospital where I waited another few hours. They give preference to current clients, elderly and children. Sure we can walk-in but expect long long waits unless you're elderly or a child.
My room mate still sees them and he and I have the same medical plan (H.E.R.E Local 75). We both have caps, dental implants, gold fillings, glasses and custom shoe inserts... all paid for by our union health plan. We've never seen a bill until we started using the Albany. I stopped going to them at all. My room mate is ignorant and lazy so still goes to see them weekly. They not only take our OHIP card, they also take our private medical insurance plan and charge us cash on top of all that.
Hey have you seen the cars they all drive?
