  • I had been a loyal customer here for about 2 years. Sunday March 1st I went in for a back fill. They of course we're extremely busy being a Sunday and my favorite tech was not available. Tyler, the owner called me back after waiting about 20 mins or so. He started to file my nails to prep them for the girl who eventually did my fill that day. I had a nail that was lifting and when Tyler went to file that one with the drill it caught the corner and he cut me in the center of my nail bed. Naturally it started bleeding like crazy and I could tell he felt bad but his natural defense mechanism was that he blamed me for not telling him I had a lifted nail. He also started defending himself saying that because I had color on my nail he couldn't tell. Didn't ask me if I was OK. He had to remove the acrylic nail which was not easy because I was in a LOT of pain. Then a girl rushed me over to the sink to wash it. Then she rushed me over to the chair where she quickly applied acrylic powder and said that will stop it from bleeding. Then she started on my fill with the rest of my nails. There was a fungus toward the tip of the nail on the finger that was cut so I asked them to put that anti fungal drops on it. Her and Tyler both told me that it would be fine since the old nail was off and if they put a new nail on that will prevent the fungus from growing. They also said a new nail won't stick if they use that. I asked them several times if I should just leave that nail off for a while so it could heal. They said no it will be ok. So against my better judgement I let her put a new nail on. Several hours later my finger hurt EXTREMELY bad. I alternated Advil and Tylenol for the pain. For several days I watched for infection. So upset at myself for allowing her to put a nail on. My finger was swollen for days but no sign of infection. A couple days ago I noticed some dark coloring on the nail bed. I had a wedding to go to yesterday so I waited until today to remove the nail. I soaked it off in acetone and got sick to my stomach when I saw what was under there. A huge hole and fungus all over my nail bed! I'll be making a doctor appointment tomorrow and I know that I am loosing my nail. What kills me is how I was treated as if the accident was my fault, didn't ask if I was all right and when I went to pay my nail tech said "Tyler feels bad about your nail so he's giving you ten dollars off" Really??? I will upload a couple photos in the hopes that if this ever happens to someone else Tyler and his staff will handle it more appropriately and think of the health of their clients.
