I went in tonight needing four new tires (one was shredded and the other three were worn almost flat). I'd had an amazingly bad day - "thanks" in part to Jason at the Enterprise Rental car place down the street for being condescending and sneaky, but that's another review....
Gayle was so helpful & kind and she even offered me a hug when she saw that I was feeling pretty emotional about the really tough day I'd had that was being topped off with a relatvely large expenditure I wasn't expecting! When I noticed that the timeframe she had given me for getting the tires put on might run them past closing time by a few minutes, she said not to worry and that they'd stay there late if it meant getting me back safely on the road. She told me I could leave & grab dinner or hang out in their waiting room where I had control of the remote & where there was a Keurig machine/coffee/tea and that they'd get me out of there as quickly as possible.
ALL of the other people working there were super nice and no one even hinted at being frustrated about having to stay a few minutes late (although they got me out of there just a couple of minutes past 8!).
The rest of my day genuinely sucked, but I got home feeling like I had been well cared for by Gayle and the guys at Pep Boys, so it really ended on a high note.
