| - It has taken me almost 4 months to write this review.. but this place deserves serious kudos and a huge thank you. My beloved, and very best friend Bruce, lost his battle with cancer after a little more than a year. He was in care with Dr. Vaughn throughout this process, and I swear the man is an angel on earth. He always advises the absolute best options for care, even if it's not always with him. My husband and I are young and don't have a ton of money, so Dr. Vaughn never made us do anything unnecessary that we could not afford. He never made us feel silly for crying (he's quick with a tissue), he was always affectionate with Bruce in a real way, and never hurried us along when we had a billion questions. He's definitely a man who is on your pets team no matter what, and even recommended a really amazing at home hospice when the time came. I hope I never HAVE to see Dr. Vaughn again, but I truly cherish the work he does, and trust him with my current and future babies if it comes to that again. Thank you Dr. Vaughn.
On a less sad note: we have a goofy young dog who likes to jump to look over our brick wall in the backyard.. one day she got a little to rambunctious and landed in a way that cut her jaw open. We were in an absolute panic since it was late, and called the emergency center here. They told us to bring her straight in and stapled her up for an extremely reasonable price despite being an emergency. They do charge more for after hours, but who cares when it comes to your pets wellbeing and nothing else is open?
Their front desk staff/techs are polite and energetic, and don't make you feel awkward when you have to pay with puffy eyes. Having a sick pet is tough, I know, but you'll feel good about the care they get here, I promise.
