The service techs I had were great, however, totally not pleased with the way the company ran me over. I first called because I suspected a leak on my fairly new system. I had the same thing happen just a year earlier when it was only 1 year old. Tech came out and charged me $89 to "diagnose" this. The leak was confirmed, unit was filled back up with freon, and I was told there were indications I would just need to have the unit replaced since this was my second leak on a newer system. I was called the next day and told the tech they sent was not experienced enough to tell me this. Ummmmm....why are you sending people out to fix things who aren't experienced enough? And charge me $89 for it? Shouldn't I get a discount for getting a "rookie" then?
By then, about 15 hours later, all the freon had leaked back out again while it was 95 degrees out. They told me I wouldn't get a new unit and they would need to come back and confirm the prior diagnosis that I already paid $89 for by running a leak test that costs $249. WHAT?! I now have to pay a ridiculous amount to have you re-confirm the obvious? It didn't take any sort of rocket scientist, or someone with HVAC knowledge, to know there was a leak. Absolutely insane. Why did I pay $89? Shouldn't I at the VERY least get that money back? Especially since they didn't fix the problem properly the FIRST time? Sickening. I will not be calling these guys the next time I need work done, and I will most certainly be letting the rest of my neighborhood know how they do business since they installed all of their units as well. The only reason they get 2 stars from me is because the techs were great....just trying to do a good job. Clearly its the company itself that has messed up policies and only care about that dollar.
